Hi, my name is Ella and I am 18 years old.
I love languages, I have recently started to learn Finnish (though I am not yet at the level where I can have a proper conversation really) and I would love to learn Malagasy, as I fell madly in love with the country on my first visit at the age of 8.
I am a native Spanish speaker and speak near-native English (I have studied in English for most of my life and am planning to go to an English-language university), as well as having very good spoken and good written French (some of my family is French).
If you want to learn/practise on of those languages but don't speak Finnish or Malagasy, it's fine, if you speak some interesting language I will probably be interested. In particular, I have my eye on Icelandic, Russian and Gaelic (Irish, Scottish, Breton, whatever).
I am interested in literature, Philosophy, History, Linguistics and ranting about how much I hate Franco. I also love chickens. The little guy in my pfp is called Sunbeam. My two predominant topics of conversation recently are how wonderful chickens are and Linguistics. Particularly Nicaraguan Sign Language. If you know NSL, do contact me, I'll probably explode of happiness.
