Hello, I’m Alexander. I studied Russian for 10 years, and speak it well, but I am not Russian (my name is popular in the US as well). Now, I am studying Tatar, just for fun, as an odd personal hobby. I have no family members who are Tatar, but I am motivated to learn how to speak, because it’s a really interesting linguistic world to explore.
