Hello my name is Derek.
I live in Victoria bc.
I speak English and am currently learning Japanese.
I will be traveling to japan this June for 1 month. I feel learning as much as I can before then would be a great asset in my travel.
Having a language partner will help me learn much faster. Practicing my out put and listening will be my main focus.
Unfortunately I do process things slowly so patience will be greatly appreciated.
I am currently taking online classes everyday and am studying hiragana and katakana. I have gotten to the point where I can read the characters but not understand what I read.
I'm a pretty relaxed person easy to get along with. I like to go hiking, love playing all kinds of games except trivia, just getting outside mainly.
