I've been learning Mandarin for 2 years. My martial arts teacher is from Shanghai and doesn't speak any English. I wish to improve my conversational Mandarin so I can eventually take private lessons from him. He teaches 心意六合.
As for me, I teach for a living so I am very patient when it comes to helping people improve their own language skills. I can mimic tones fairly well but I get flustered speaking in real time with people.
