I’m originally from Hong Kong, but I moved to Canada when I was young, so my Cantonese has gotten pretty rusty from not using it much. Now I’m hoping to learn Mandarin so I can communicate better with the Chinese people in my area.
Some of my hobbies include cooking, watching shows, and going for walks around my neighborhood. I’ve also found that one of the best ways for me to practice languages is by gaming online with a language partner. If you’re into gaming too, that’s great — if not, I’m sure we’ll find another fun way to practice and learn together.

My native language Cantonese, and I grew up with Mandarin as well, though I am most technically proficient with English nowadays. I have studied Italian in secondary school, and am looking to start learning Czech just for fun. I would also like to brush up on my Mandarin. Yea I can speak 4 languages: Cantonese, English, Mandarin and Japanese.
Language is like a portal, transporting you to different cultures. That’s why I love to learn languages!
Although my English isn’t bad, I’d like to have more practice, and yea my Japanese definitely needs some brush up too!

We can hang out together (I’d love someone to go to art exhibitions / dance shows/operas with me), have good food together, explore the city together.. this way we can expand and improve vocabularies in different aspects, or just do texting is also fine! Either way we can share our lives :)
