I am a retired lady, married with 3 grownups, living in Oslo, Norway. I speak fluently Vietnamese, French and English. Living in Oslo does not give me many opportunities to practice my French. I had studied French since primary school until my graduation in Terminale, Baccalauréat. As a family, we use English. I would like to find some friends here to practice my French, to tell each other about our life, family and about what is happening in the world. I am not looking for any relationship. I am not sure whether I should write in French as well, but then, if you want to practice your English, you can try to read my message, :). Hope to meet some ‘’sympathique ‘’ people here.

Hi. I’m Alice and moved to Norway few months ago. I study Norwegian in the school but that is so slow speed for me, so I’ve decided to practice extra. That’s why I’m here. Will be happy to help you with Russian. See you!

I am an American (from Seattle) who moved to Norway back in 2013 and despite many attempts and a good number of classes over the years, I still speak embarrassingly little Norwegian. My comprehension has improved but I have a long way to go with speaking. I am of course happy to just help with English :) Gaining some more functionality in the language would be helpful, perhaps almost more important, would be to get to know some interesting and interested locals from outside of the expat community. I would, perhaps illogically given that I live in Norway, also like to work on my long neglected German. If you happen to be a native German speaker and want to improve your high level English and can handle some very rough attempts to speak your language please get in touch. I am a mechanical engineer (with a physics degree) who is interested in a wide range of topics, from history, psychology, and anthropology to machine tools and science. I am the product of a liberal arts education if that means anything to you. I also enjoy the outdoors and have a dog who is more or less my constant companion.

Hello! My name is Jon, I'm 37 years old, and currently live close to Oslo, Norway :). I used to work as a pilot for an Indonesian airline, and lived there for just over 3 years. Lived mostly in Kalimantan and Jakarta, and I still try to improve my Bahasa Indonesia. I'm fluent in Norwegian and English, and can help with any of these languages.

Originally from Croatia, living in Norway. I really want to learn Korean, both to speak and eventually to write and real as well. At first I’d like to learn some basic phrases and expressions and get a sense for pronunciation. I am fluent in Croatian, Norwegian and English, so I can help you get better in one of them in exchange. Hope to hear from you 😊
