Hello everyone, I'm a native German speaker and a language freak. I've been working on my English intensively for several years now. Meanwhile, I think, it has improved a lot and I feel quite confident with it. But I'm still a learner, who makes mistakes. The grammar is still bothering me at times, because I learned most things by doing. Although the pronunciation of new words very often succeeds instinctively, that doesn't always work. I'd love to assist others with German in a conversational way to not get worse again, and to hone my language skills. I'm a huge fan of the Irish accents that are spoken more in the west and south of Ireland and around Dublin, but my own English is, I guess, a wild mix of everything from everywhere. I see English as a lingua franca, as kind of my door to the world, to other cultures. I love playing with language and language(s). I also like poetry, but don't know much of poetry in English yet. I do some sport, I love nature and walk my dog in every weather in nature. Besides that, my interests are manifold (I just lack the time to do everything as intensively as I would love to). Anyway, I think, there will always be a topic to talk about. If I didn't scare you off and you wanna give us a go, then hit me up, Antje

Hi, I would like to find people from the Netherlands or Belgium to learn to speak Dutch fluently. I can help you with German or teach it beginning at any level required, but also with English due to the fact that I'm an English teacher. I'm basically interested in any language. I speak Polish, too, but it is not my mother tongue. Drop me a line!

Hi there, my name’s Kai . I’m like 14 and live in Berlin . I can speak already B1-B2 English, so communication shouldn’t be a problem. My mother tongue is German (the real one without accents). I love cats and I’m also a pretty enthusiastic table tennis player. I wanna improve my communication skills. Wanna learn English and French. Bye.

Vielen Dank.
Hello, my name is Violante. You can also say Viola or Vio. I`m 26 years old and I`m from Germany. I`m very interested in japanese langues, culture, politic and history. My new life goal is to reach the same language level as a native speaker. I'm studying japanese at my own since a few months. I can allready read Hiragana and Katakana, but I have still problems with the Kanjis, the gramar and the japanese pronunciation. I would like to have daily conversation in japanese without any problems. One day I would like to watch my favourite anime in japanese without subtitles.
If you want to learn german it would be a pleasure for me, to teach it you and you can teach me japanese. So we can help each other. If you have any questions about german gramar, vocabularys or german culture, feel free to ask me. I will answer you questions.
Thank you very much.

Hi, my name is Joel Bean- I am an English/German (and on occasion Spanish) teacher and former musician from the USA, currently living in Warsaw. I am extremely passionate about languages/culture and how it can help us to develop a much wider understanding of every aspect of life and help to build meaningful relationships with other people. With this in mind, my goal is to be able to take in the culture, language, and perspective of others with an open and curious mind, and to also be able to teach and share my own culture, language, and experience through history, music, philosophy, and other disciplines. I want to be able to foster a sense of "cultural counterpoint"; that is, the ability to see the same basic object via several lenses at once, something which can be a direct outcome of the language learning process. If this sounds good to anybody, and you would like to become a friend, please don't hesitate to reach out- I would especially be happy to meet anybody in person!
I really love Steve Kaufmann and his respective methods in particular, and I would love to find others who share a similar enthusiasm for languages and in particular enjoy the process of learning. There are also several other polyglots/language enthusiasts whom I enjoy and I will be happy to name as well :)
My German is at a C2 level, my Spanish is just right below, my Portuguese somewhere just under that, and my Ukrainian and Polish are somewhere in the middle (chcę zdać egzamin języka polskiego na poziomie B2 w ciągu najbliższych trzech lat)
I would, in any case, like to refine all of the aforementioned languages to an extremely high level (with the goal of at some point being able to pass an advanced exam for all of those )
Cheers!
