Description
As a Belgian born and raised, I was exposed to many languages simply by dint of living in a country that has three official languages. I lived in the UK for a few years, where I much improved my English and absorbed the English accent (with a few trips to Scotland for added effect). I am the author of The Last Man Standing, an action/romance sci-fi roman.
I very much enjoy running, exploring derelict pathways in the wild, discovering new cultures, meeting new people and philosphy.
In any of these subjects I am willing to talk about anything and everything.
I am fully fluent in English and Dutch, my French is passable (my grammar is a bit rusty due to disuse). I am looking to learn German (I have a decent vocabulary, but my sentence structure and finer control of the grammatic rule is simply atrocious) and Lithuanian (current knowledge is limited to saying hello and goodbye).
I am up for verbal communication through WhatsApp, Signal or Discord, any means of written communication or even meeting up in real life if there is not too much of a distance between us. Everyone has a unique story of their own, especially as to why you are learning a new language, and I look forward to hearing yours. It is also one of the best ways to spontaniously learn a new language, by having an open range of subjects and being spontanuous, and talking about something you are passionate about always is more pleasant!
