Hey, I'm Dezhi from China. You can call me Anthony as well. I'm 24 years old. I live in Suzhou City, which is neighbored by Shanghai. I'm currently studying for a master's degree in linguistics, so after this summer vacation, I will go to my college in Tianjin which is near Beijing.

I'm passionate about different languages and cultures. I can speak three Chinese dialects fluently and I hope to learn more. I'm also a beginner in French and Japanese.

I love music and I'm always willing to try different genres of music. I can play some classical music on the piano. Also, I'm learning a traditional Chinese instrument called "sanxian" (three strings). Sometimes, I upload my own compositions to the internet and I am so happy that many people love them.

I see myself as a book nerd, and I believe reading is very important. I read many English academic papers in my field, but I am also interested in philosophy, politics, novels, poems, etc. I hope to find someone to read something together.
