SpanishI am a native speaker of Polish, so I would be happy to help you study this language. I know English at C2 level and I would be glad to both learn and teach. I can communicate in Russian quite well, but I would like to expand my vocabulary. I can also help you learn Russian. I like reading Japanese literature, so I would be happy to learn at least a little bit of Japanese. I would also be glad to master some Spanish and French as I like the sound of these languages. I really enjoy learning languages and everything about languages, which is my biggest hobby! Apart from that I love genealogy and history (my family tree has around 1000 profiles now), poetry, playing guitar, birdwatching and I'm always excited to learn something new about us humans and understand us deeper.
Russian is a language I feel I can speak from the heart, unlike English and I want to be able to write poetry in it in the future. I also have family in Russia 🇷🇺
Ukrainian is my great grandmother's language and one my paternal grandpa and his family were familiar with apart from Polish, so I want to get fluent in it so that I could pay respect to my roots in some way. There's still some of my relatives living there and I'd love to connect with them this way 🇺🇦
Arabic is a language I'm passionate about, especially when it comes to dialects and dialectology. At the university I usually study MSA (الفصحى), but what my catched my heart first was the Syrian dialect, especially that of the coast 🇸🇾
Turkish I'm studying due to my major and even though I won't be studying it no more begining with this semestre, I really liked it and would want to be able to communicate in it on a basic level 🇹🇷 I'd also like to pick up some Crimean Tatar in the meanwhile 🙂

At home I'm a proud cat mom. Apart from that, I enjoy travelling and reading books, especially by Polish, British , Indian and Middle Eastern writers. Recently, I have often travelled to Turkey and I am planning to visit more of the Middle East so I'd love to get to know people who speak Turkish and want to practice with me as a beginner. Also, I am thinking about learning other languages of the countries that I really admire such as Armenian or Persian but I am not familiar with these languages so far. I'd like to learn Ukrainian too because it's a language my grandmother could speak as a child and there are many Ukrainian immigrants in my country nowadays.

Hi! I'm from Ontario/Poland and I recently moved to Montreal! I speak French at about a B1/B2 level and would love to meet with people in person to practise.
