Language.Exchange

I am a 63 year old retired truck driver who lives with his wife in a town near Sacramento, CA. I have a lot of interests but the one that brings me here is a desire to become proficient in reading and writing in German. I was stationed with the US Army in a garrison 19 kilometers north of Nuremburg (Herzogenaurach) from the age of 17 to 20; but as the Germans that I knew during that time spoke excellent English, I never got far with learning their language. It was an oversight that I have long regretted and I now have the time to make-up for it. I look forward to finding native German speakers who are interested in corresponding in writing.
